Meet Dr. Pamela Daigle
Dr. Daigle’s path to practicing dentistry in South Louisiana is not the usual one, and it’s worth knowing. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where she earned her first Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003 from Universidad de San Martín de Porres School of Dentistry. After moving to the United States, she worked as a dental assistant in South Florida, and that’s where she met her husband, Casey, who is from Opelousas, Louisiana.
When the two settled in Louisiana, Dr. Daigle hit a wall: her Peruvian credentials weren’t recognized for practice in the U.S. Rather than walk away from the career she’d spent years building, she went back to school. She earned a Bachelor of Science from LSU, then a second Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, because she wasn’t willing to take a shortcut when it came to her patients.
That same drive shows up in how she practices today. Dr. Daigle has completed the Clinical Mastery Series in anterior aesthetics, the full Understanding Occlusion curriculum, a full-mouth rehabilitation intensive, and the Implant Pathway Fast Track program (93 continuing education hours), plus TCP Level 2: Advanced Surgery, covering complex techniques including sinus elevation, ridge splitting, and guided bone regeneration. She’s fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Her guiding philosophy: great dentistry never stops evolving, and neither does she.

A Practice Built on Relationships, Not Transactions
Off the Trace Dental calls what it does “relationship-focused dentistry,” and that’s not marketing language because it’s how the office actually runs.
Dr. Daigle and her team take time to listen: to your questions, your concerns, and what you actually want out of your dental care. You won’t get a rushed assessment and a treatment plan you didn’t ask for. You’ll get a conversation first. Many of Off the Trace’s most loyal patients came in after a frustrating experience somewhere else, and found a practice that felt, finally, like a place they could trust.
The office is modern and family-friendly, without feeling corporate. Dr. Daigle and Casey are locals who love finding the hidden-gem businesses throughout their Louisiana community. That’s the energy here: not a chain, not a production line, but a team that genuinely knows the people it cares for.
The Sarah’s Laughter Partnership And Why It’s Personal
For every new patient Off the Trace Dental welcomes, a contribution goes to Sarah’s Laughter®, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting families navigating infertility and pregnancy loss. This isn’t a cause Dr. Daigle stumbled into. She and Casey know firsthand what it means to wait, sacrifice, and long for a family. Their daughter Isabella arrived in 2022 after years of that journey. Dr. Daigle supports Sarah’s Laughter because she has walked that road herself.
Cosmetic Dentistry for a More Confident Smile
Professional Teeth Whitening
Professional-grade teeth whitening delivers results that over-the-counter products simply can’t match. Whether you’re preparing for something specific or just want to stop feeling self-conscious about your teeth, it’s one of the fastest cosmetic improvements you can make.
Porcelain Veneers
Ultra-thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth can correct chips, gaps, discoloration, and irregularities that whitening won’t address. Veneers are a long-term investment in how your smile looks, and with Dr. Daigle’s hands-on anterior aesthetics training, you’re getting results that are both clinically precise and genuinely beautiful.
Every cosmetic consultation at Off the Trace starts with a real conversation about what you’re hoping to achieve. Not the most expensive option, the right one.
Comprehensive Care for the Whole Family
Professional cleanings, full-mouth exams, fluoride treatments, and scaling and root planing for gum disease. The goal is to stay ahead of problems before they become expensive ones. We also perform tooth-colored fillings to repair cavities, dental crowns (including CEREC same-day crowns), bridges, and dentures to restore your smile from decayed or missing teeth.
Dental Implants
The gold standard for replacing missing teeth is dental implants. Dr. Daigle handles the complete implant process in-office, including complex procedures like sinus elevation and guided bone regeneration. You won’t be referred out to separate specialists, and your care stays with the team that already knows you.
